​​​​​​The Water Right Application Portal allows you to fill out your water right application, pay, sign, and submit online.

Before you apply, request a pre-application meeting. A pre-application meeting is an opportunity for you to talk with Water Resources staff about your project and what opportunities for water supply may exist before you pay nonrefundable fees and file your application. Water rights can be difficult and expensive to obtain, and the process can take many years. The average pre-application meeting takes one to two hours and may save you significant time and money in the long term.
